NEW OFFICER IN TOWN: Satellite Beach Police Department welcomes Air Force veteran Brian Severns

Severns is an Air Force veteran who served for four years in the security forces

BREVARD COUNTY • SATELLITE BEACH, FLORIDA – The Satellite Beach Police Department welcomed Constable Brian Severns to their team at a recent swearing-in ceremony attended by family, friends and co-workers.

Officer Severns is an Air Force veteran who served four years in the security forces.

The Satellite Beach Police Department is made up of 25 sworn law enforcement officers, 14 full-time or permanent civilian support staff, including dispatchers, and 11 school crossing guards.

“Our agency is committed to providing professional services to those who live and visit Satellite Beach,” said Chef Jeff Pearson.

“Through careful selection of employees, ongoing training, and progressive community programs, our service provides the citizens of Satellite Beach with the highest level of community policing and customer service available.”

The Satellite Beach Police Department Volunteer Program offers volunteer programs that improve the city, including COP (Citizens on Patrol), All Volunteer Marine Patrol, ATV Beach Patrol, Bike Patrol, fingerprints, home checks, administration and Stop By & Say Hi.
