Josh Knight extends loan deal to Wycombe from Leicester City
Wycombe Wanderers confirmed Josh Knight had extended his loan deal with Leicester City club.
The 23-year-old center-back joined the Presidencies in the fall and has been a ubiquitous number on Gareth Ainsworth’s roster, having started 19 games since signing.
His original contract expired a day after the 3-1 home loss to Middlesbrough on January 2, but his extension means he will be at the club for the remainder of the season.
Manager Gareth Ainsworth said: “It’s a poorly kept secret that we’ve worked hard to keep Josh here and I’m delighted to be doing it.
“He has been excellent for us since his first game in September and has had to adjust to play with a number of different center partners due to injuries in recent weeks, which he has taken in his stride and has continued to do. to be a big, big player for us.
“It’s great to have Josh and Admiral Muskwe’s loans on the line this week, and once again I’m grateful to Andrew Howard for his efforts in the negotiations and to Rob, Missy and Pete Couhig for their support from me and my team which made these agreements a reality.

He will be available to play in the FA Cup match against Preston North End on Saturday, alongside his Leicester City team-mate Admiral Muskwe, who joined him on January 5.
