Iko Uwais confirmed as villain in ‘The Expendables 4’


The star of Lowering the Iko Uwais trilogy has been cast as the villain for the upcoming Consumables 4. The film doesn’t have an exact release date yet, but it will certainly include many beloved action movie actors from previous installments.
The plot for Consumables 4 has yet to be revealed, but it will take Iko Uwais to take on a role he’s never played before in his career: the villain. All we know for now is that Iko Uwais will play a former military officer turned wealthy arms dealer with his own private army. The Indonesian actor and martial arts specialist will join the cast of Hollywood action stars Sylvester Stallone, Jason Statham and Dolph Lundgren. The team of veteran warriors who are not yet ready to withdraw from explosive action will be joined by stars including Megan Fox, Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson, Jacob Scipio and Andy Garcia. According to Looper, Jason Statham will play a much more central role than in previous installments.

Consumables 4 is slated for release in late 2022 or early 2023, depending on how long post-production takes for such an action-packed title.
