MACON — The Air Force edged Mercer, 13-10, to extend a four-game winning streak Saturday afternoon at Five Star Stadium. The Falcons improve to 4-4 this season while the Bears drop to 3-6 overall.

Air Force Hot Blow Brenden Crouse scored a career-high six goals on 18 shots, tying his career-best performance for the second time this season. Crouse, scoring his fifth hat trick of the season, leads the team with 30 goals in the 2022 campaign, extending his active goalscoring streak to 12 consecutive games. big man falcon Brandon Dodd nailed a goal and further facilitated the attack with four assists, the best of the season.

Aidan Tolen and freshman teammate Wes Peen scored two goals apiece, with both Falcons scoring four straight games. For the second time this season, the AF attack made 50 shots in the match.

Air Force Team Captains Brian Michel and Quentin Carlile led from the front – Michael, the main man facing off, landed the best 12 ground balls of his career that day while winning 14 of 25 attempts against X. Carlile anchored the defense with a high of season five caused turnovers and four ground balls.
