Airmen and guardians who are eligible and choose to receive a dose of the COVID-19 vaccine are allowed a four-hour pass or up to four hours of administrative leave for Air Force Department civilians .

The Office of Personnel Management allows federal employees up to four hours of administrative leave to receive a vaccine booster, designed to cover “the time it takes to get to the immunization site, receive the immunization dose, and return home. job”.
If federal employees take less than four hours to receive their booster injection, they should only be granted that administrative time off, and employees cannot be granted time off or overtime if they receive their booster injection. outside of their regular working hours.
Federal employees are also allowed up to four hours of administrative leave to accompany family members who receive a dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
Federal employees must obtain prior approval from their supervisor before being allowed to use administrative leave for COVID-19 vaccination purposes.
